I Just Want Peace…

I Just Want Peace

Apart from really serious, unavoidable circumstances like mental illnesses/trauma and death, (just to name a few, because I know there is way more)… the amount of peace available to you, is really in your hands. Life will not let up because you are tired. Seriously, life itself is incapable of empathizing and giving you a break. Therefore, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT. You have to take action or you will crumble.

Suggestions for Fighting the SIMPLER Annoyances of Life:

1. Vent โœ– you need an outlet. Write it down. Draw it. Talk about it. Exercise. Unexpressed frustration is the LAST thing you want if you desire peace.

2. Find truths & positives๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜Œ– Once you’ve let it out, you must understand that your mind and feelings can LIE to you. Firstly, was everything that you wrote down true? Secondly, was it positive? Here’s a guide you can use/edit to your liking:

Is that true about me? Was that a valid/fair point? Is it really impossible? Is it really worth it? Do you really mean that? Can this help me improve?

3. Apply & Practice – Keep the cycle going. Vent then find truths and positives. Only keep the truths and positives. Work on those and move on with your life. Repeat with the next problem. โ™ป๏ธ

Example 1: If you really messed up or are bad at something (truth) – skip the pity party and self validation ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ (negative). Own it, learn from it then do better next time (positive).

Example 2: If you were called lazy when you know you are not, it’s not worth your energy to convince them with words (except if it’s solid proof, in some cases). In this case, it’s a lie ๐Ÿšฎ, so stop thinking about it and keep the positive that you’re a BOSS ๐Ÿ•ถ and you’re HARDWORKING *high five* ๐Ÿ–.

That’s it, my loves. Hope it helps. Just practice, practice, practice.
